Music in Justice Settings
Music in Prisons
Since July 2009 Sarah has worked with the organisation Music in Prisons, working with groups of young people to learn different instruments, develop songs and write lyrics over five days. The resulting tracks are recorded by the participants, and the project culminates in a live performance. Projects provide prisoners with a positive learning experience, and help in the process of rehabilitation, education and the forming of life-skills.
